Thrilling first and best of all times Aural Exciters by Aphex instead of their newer models. Originally first model is 402 and made with tubes at early of 1970, both 602 and 602B made with discrete parts, silicon (transistors and IC’s) at about 1975 (their secret kept well on closed potted modules). At about 1987 made the first original for broadcast use “Aural Exciter II Broadcast” and “Aural Exciter II Studio” models, all made with LF353, NE5532 and HI Sonic Quality gold VCA 1001, including hard by pass relays on case of power supply failure. On those models Aphex make real great reliable job long time before brilliant Mr. Donn Werrbach join Aphex .Co as chief engineer with his excellent broadcasting processor 2020MKIII.
